In this project we are going to introduce the students to the life and work of Austrian artist Gustav Klimt. The children will use a variety of art elements such as line, shape and pattern to create a drawing with intricate designs emphasizing one area more than another .

LARGER THAN LIFE

Students will draw flowers on a foam sheet and use paint in a printing like method to create the look of Georgia O'Keefe's beautiful flowers.

Get ready to flip out with Notan. Our students will learn balance and symmetry, postive and negative space, and the use of light & dark. They will use paper and scissors to create an optical illusion masterpiece. |
